Ahwahnee Amber Ale

One of the best things about the Ahwahnee Hotel in Yosemite National Park is the patio off the grill restaurant. After two nights of camping and drinking lukewarm beverages from plastic mugs, we were thrilled to sit on comfortable chairs sipping chilled beverages like The Ahwahnee Amber Ale pictured above. If you visit t The Ahwahnee, order the amber. We also drank a Yosemite Pale Ale which we purchased at one of the park's markets. Although it was lukewarm by the time we drank it at our tent site, the temperature could not disguise its tasty flavor.
